A Finalist in Udi Na-aga N’iru Essay Writing Competition, junior category, ONWUTA EBUBE GIDEON:
I am immensely delighted to receive this honorary reward from my home Local government. For I have been craving to obtain a life changing award, such as a scholarship but without much scintilla of success. This had made me lose faith and view it as an impossibility.
However, this congratulatory gift has made me realize that my toiling through the night is not in vain and that I am still on the right track.
Thank you all for restoring my faith. People say “Opportunity comes once”, but I believe it comes many times in different froms. Now, I will no more retrogress. I will rather forge ahead in full vitality. Along with God’s will, I am certain that things will turn out right, someday.

This is quite commendable, the newsletter and the effort of Udi LGA. One Ward One Road is a good one that spells out the purpose and direction of the Mayor. Opportunities to the younger elements is added vigour to overall development. Ifeanyi Agu is a Lion.
