Finally, succour arrived where it was clamoured for, in the quantity yearned for and with the quality anticipated.
In what has gone down the annals of Local Government Administration history in Enugu State, the unprecedented wave of rural road rehabilitation projects have swept across the landscape of Udi, from our northernmost Community of Umulumgbe to our Southernmost equivalent in Nachi.
The now famous One Ward/One Road rehabilitation initiative of the Hon. Pascal Ifeanyi Agu Administration in Udi LGA, which commenced in Umulumgbe in November, have touched down in Nachi just before Christmas, leaving crowds of happy Citizens in its wake.
Nachi is one of the largest Communities in Udi, with a teeming population of PDP faithfuls and Stakeholders who are very visible in Party activities.
It is therefore fitting for the finale of this unusual demonstration of adherence to social contract with the people, by this Administration, to be ticked off here.
By starting this laudable initiative in partnership with the Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led State Government and concluding it timely, with swathes of visible and verifiable access roads in every Ward in Udi, Hon. Ifeanyi Agu of the Udi Smart City fame, has proven to be the unusual political Leader and the archetypal proponent of People-First developmental politics and peerless Champion of synergy in delivery of democracy dividends.
